CO₂ Laser Skin Resurfacing
Renew Your Skin’s Tone and Texture
What Is CO₂ Laser Resurfacing?
CO₂ laser resurfacing uses controlled laser energy to remove damaged surface skin and create microscopic treatment zones within the skin. This process encourages natural healing and new collagen production, helping improve skin texture, tone, firmness, and overall appearance.
Laser resurfacing may be performed as a lighter fractional treatment or as a more intensive ablative treatment.
CO₂ Laser service
Fractional CO₂ Laser Resurfacing
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sun damage and discoloration
- Uneven skin tone and texture
- Enlarged pores
- Acne scars and other selected scars
- Mild skin laxity
- Dull or rough-looking skin
Ablative CO₂ Laser Resurfacing
Ablative CO₂ resurfacing removes damaged outer layers of skin more intensively. It may be recommended for patients seeking more significant improvement in deeper wrinkles, advanced sun damage, prominent texture irregularities, or selected scars.
Because ablative treatments are stronger, they generally involve more healing and downtime than lighter fractional treatments. The treatment depth and intensity will be selected after evaluating your skin, goals, and medical history. This ablative treatment is mostly done in the Operating room with general anesthesia.

Precision Ablation and Selected Lesions
The precision CO₂ handpiece may also be used by the physician for selected concerns such as certain skin tags, warts, moles, and other appropriate lesions following an examination. It may also have surgical applications around the eyes or for conditions such as rhinophyma when medically appropriate.
Not every lesion is suitable for laser treatment. Suspicious or changing growths must be evaluated before removal and may require biopsy or another treatment method.
