Recovery

Recovery from a neck lift takes around five to seven days, during which you may experience bruising, swelling, and tightness in the neck area that will fade within a few weeks. Although the surgical site may feel tender, you can return to work after one or two weeks. Dr. Gigena will discuss the entire procedure and aftercare plan with you in detail during your initial consultation, so you can rest assured that you will feel fully prepared for a safe and smooth recovery.

Results

After neck lift surgery, it may take two to three weeks for the swelling and bruising to go down. However, the good news is that the results are immediately visible. To ensure optimal results, you will want to avoid strenuous activities for at least a month post-surgery. Maintaining a healthy and stable weight will prevent the skin on your neck from stretching due to fluctuations in your weight, ensuring long-lasting results for years to come.
